The college is dedicated to fostering self-reliance and professional skills among students to prepare them for various career paths, including freelancing, self-employment, and competitive sectors. These initiatives are managed under the Placement Cell and IQAC.

Key Initiatives & Activities (Session 2024-25):

  • Placement Cell:

  • Headed by Dr. Sandeep Dahiya (Assistant Professor, Geography).

  • On 20.02.2025, an extension lecture was organized where Dr. Satish Kumar (Assistant Professor, Commerce, Delhi University) guided students on preparing for competitive examinations after graduation.

  • Skill Enhancement Workshops:

  • To improve professional communication—a crucial skill for freelancers and professionals—the IQAC organized a Communication Skills Workshop from 07 October 2024 to 11 October 2024.

  • Mock Interviews and guidance programs were conducted for final-year students on 11 April 2025 to prepare them for real-world interactions.

  • Sector-Specific Training:

  • Banking & Finance: On 19 February 2025, a lecture on "Employment Possibilities in the Banking Sector" was delivered by Mr. Jatinder Paul Singh (Vice President, Axis Bank).

  • Digital Skills: The Computer Science Department organized competitions on "The Role of AI in Preventing Cyber Crime" on 28 February 2025, encouraging digital literacy essential for modern freelancing.

  • Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): A workshop on IPR was conducted on 19 February 2025 by Dr. Vandana Nasa, providing insights into protecting creative and intellectual work.

  • Earn While You Learn:

  • The college actively implements the "Padho Aur Kamao" (Earn While You Learn) scheme to support students financially while they study, fostering a culture of work and independence.
