Report on Women Cell Activities (Session 2025–26)
Tau Devi Lal Government Post Graduate College for Women, Murthal (Sonipat)
1. Teej Celebration (25 July 2025)
The Women Cell celebrated the traditional festival of Teej with great enthusiasm. The programme featured vibrant performances including Haryanvi songs, dances, and short plays that highlighted the cultural heritage of Haryana. The event provided a joyful platform for students to express their creativity and celebrate women’s traditions.
2. Health Check-up Camp (27 September 2025)
A free Health Check-up Camp was organized during Seva Pakhwada in collaboration with a team of doctors. The camp aimed to promote health awareness among students and staff through medical consultations and preventive health guidance.
3. Painting Competition (27 September 2025)
As part of the Seva Pakhwada activities (17 September – 2 October 2025), a Painting Competition was held on the theme 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Viksit Bharat, and Modi Ji ka Chintan.' Students enthusiastically participated and showcased their artistic talent by expressing the vision of a self-reliant and progressive India through their paintings.
4. Diwali Mela Celebration (9 October 2025)
The Women Cell organized a vibrant Diwali Mela celebration on 9th October 2025. Students set up various stalls featuring handicraft items, mehndi art, food items, decorative materials, diyas, and candles. The event provided a platform to encourage entrepreneurship, creativity, and teamwork among students while celebrating the spirit of the festival.
5. Four days workshop on theatre from 5th February to 9th February 2026.
6. Organised four days workshop on Beauty and Care from 10th February to 14th February 2026.
