In the Green Haryana campaign conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education in Tau Devi Lal Government Women’s College, Haryana.
280 registrations have been done by the staff members and students of the college.On an average, it has been resolved to plant ten plants per registration. In the college premises, tree planting was done .In this program all the staff members and students of the college were encouraged by Principal Dr. Saroj Malik to make this campaign a success.To make this campaign a success, Dr. Naresh Kumar was appointed the Nodal Officer of Associate Professor Geography College and a committee was constituted with reference to this, in which Mr. Sandeep Dahiya, Mr. Ajay Dahiya, Mrs. Jyoti and Mr. Pradeep Burra were appointed as members. Mr. Jasbir Singh and Mrs. Ankit were included for special support in this campaign. To make this campaign a success, the Taru Sakhi project was added to the college.
The goal of maximum plantation has been set to continue this campaign continuously. Under this campaign, plantation can also be done in the surrounding environment besides the college campus. By geocoding each plant, as per the directives of the Directorate, it resolved to bear the responsibility of maintaining it.
